Organizers have already conducted a rehearsal to ensure that at 8.30pm the lights will go dark for Earth Hour on the Birds Nest Stadium, the Water Cube, Ling Long Tower and Pangu Plaza in Beijing
2,848 cities, towns and municipalities in 84 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between Earth and global warming.
