sak for Converse First String Star Tech
In this new video, Converse showcases the sak for Converse Star Tech, part of the Converse First String line. Ryusaku Hiruma (or ’sak’ as he likes to be known), is a Japanese living in Italy, who pays homage to his adopted homeland by practicing shoemaking as it’s meant to be practiced. Hiruma pays careful attention to detail, handcutting the leather, stamping the heels himself, and creating works of art. Sixty Four Star Tech leather sneakers have been produced by sak, and will be available at select retailers which started last month on November 15th, 2010.
