Edison Chen's Statement

The man that is giving his statement is Edison Chen who recently earlier this year stepped away from the entertainment industry due to an illegal leak of celebrity photos of him with various women. Somehow it got all over the web and it ruined quite a bit of relationships that he had with them.

Take a look at his statement above on his blog.

There is a common assumption on the web these days that any content is king but that is far from the truth.
It is only quality content that is king and anything other than that can add value to the readers like will do more harm than good for your name or business.

On the web and beyond, everyone is looking for information and there will never be enough information in most markets.

This is good news for anyone who is prepared to present information to others are they will always have a business that will give them the opportunity to make money.

There are no short cuts when it comes to creating content. It is almost like hype, its either good or bad and if it is bad you won't be seeing the person who read it coming back to your site/blog in a hurry. Even me using wikipedia, which is actually a source on the web but if you ever looked on the site it states:
"Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia and, as a means to that end, an online community of people interested in building a high-quality encyclopedia in a spirit of mutual respect. Therefore, there are certain things that Wikipedia is not"

Sometimes you can't believe the hype and truth can only be found when you actually dig and do a little investigation on your own. I recently spoken to a former journalist who has done 25 years in the journalism and has told me that the industry has changed quite a bit where there's no more investigative work like how it was 10+ years ago. It seems more in now a days of trying to find news that can shock the public eye and less of taking the time and becoming a detective like inspector gadget and ask questions and do some digging on your own. Thanks Paul

My whole point is that you need to question whatever is being brought to you and make your decisions on what you gather. Always question the authority, one area that I do not want to get in is vaccines. There's a lot of information that needs to be investigated.
