Ladies Love Cool J - I Need Love
James Todd Smith aka LL Cool J was born on January 14, 1968, in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York.
At the age of (4) four, he saw his mother and grandfather shot by his own father. After they recovered from their injuries, his mother began to date a young physical therapist she met while in the hospital. The therapist treated Ondrea kindly, but for years he abused Todd physically and verbally, which resulted in Todd becoming a bully himself.
It was during this period that he started wearing hats all the time (one of L.L. Cool J's trademarks is the fact that people never see him without a hat on--until recently he started to on TV Shows). Fortunately, Ondrea finally discovered what this man was doing to her son and left him.
He began rapping when he was (9) nine and he bought a turntable from the store Sears, and when he turned sixteen (16), he produced & distributed a series of demos, landing a spot on Def Jam’s roster and dropping out of high school to record his first solo album. Uncle L has been on the rap radar ever since, moving to a fairly successful acting career in the 2000 doing films like Any Given Sunday, Deep Blue Sea, S.W.A.T., Rollerball, Last Holiday, and recently doing the TV Show NCIS Los Angeles as Special Agent Sam Hanna others that you can view here:
