Bast's Nose Candy in Brooklyn
BAST is an elusive street artist whose presence is only confirmed by his work.
For the last 10 years, the Brooklyn-based artist has plastered all over Europe and New york City with images appropriated from the advertisements/media and corporations like Disney all warped with a flamboyant punk cynicism.
More recently, BAST has branched out, producing works on canvas and taxidermy-style "monsters," adorned with bling and neon baseball hats. A show of his new prints christens the Brooklynite Gallery
The show ends July 12th. Check it out if you get a chance.
