Radiohead - Lotus Flower

Animated contest winners for In Rainbows

Last year at aniboom, they had a contest for animators to created a video for any of the songs off of Radiohead's In Rainbows.

Supposedly there were 1,000 submissions and Radiohead had decided to add $30,000 to award four lucky contestants.

I found this image on this artist's site which I thought was incredible because this reminded me of this remix done by UNKLE Rabbit in your headlights (Radiohead)

One of my favorite videos of all time.

The award winning video directed by Jonathan Glazer stars Denis Lavant as a 'parka clad' mummbling madman walking in a busy tunnel of cars.

Mass Marketing and Mass Consumption

The All Points Festival

If you happen to be around the Tri-state area, the All Points West Music and Arts festival will be in all weekend.

Radiohead, Jack Johnson, The Roots, Underworld, Little Brother, CSS, Cat Power, The New Pornographers, Duffy, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and more.

I just want to see Radiohead since its been a hot minute since I saw them at Madison Square Garden for their Hail to the thief tour.

House of Cards - laser version

FYI....Did I mention that because this video is pure data instead of images you can manipulate it in real time using a visualizer? Don't ask me to do it but if you know how, shout me a holla.

Check it out here and see for yourself.

NBA Playoffs kick-off today

I have been a big fan of the NBA and today is the beginning of the playoffs. Did anyone see the Suns vs. Spurs game???

I have always enjoyed the commercials they put out and this has definitely been some good marketing for the playoffs.

So who do you think is winning the crown? My guess, its going down against the Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs but I would like it to be Cavs vs. Suns.

This one is probably my favorite video since I'm a Radiohead fan. I was shocked to hear "House of Cards" playing for this commercial.
