Robot Jules mimics human expressions realistically
The University of Bristol-developed project Jules uses software to imitate the human expression.
Jules's facial expressions are as real as the software can make them to be.
Jules's face is made of some sort of flexible rubber skin and embedded with 34 internal motors to control the robot's expressions
The Humanoid uses a video camera at twenty five frames per second to pick expressions of the bystander, responding in ten pre-stocked human emotions.
The engineers from the University of Bristol developed Jules for a project entitled “Human-Robot Interaction.”
