Paid Dues comes to NYC

If you happen to be around New York City this Wed, Chang Weisberg, the brain behind last year's hyped documentary Rock the Bells Chang and his team the Guerilla Union worked with Murs once again are touring and bringing Paid Dues to a city near you so keep a look out. They will be in town this Wed. evening and possibly seeing one of the greatest MC's Rakim may perform.

If you do not know who Chang Weisberg is, I suggest you check out the documentary. Him and his guerilla promotion team was able to bring all 9 members of the Wu-Tang Clan to perform at an overcrowded venue and along with Redman, Sage Francis, Dilated Peoples, Eyedea & Abilities, Chali 2na, DJ Supernatural & MC Supernatural.

Chang gave his heart and soul just for 1 day and it shows how much hustle and hard work he put out for this day. This was one of the last footage of ODB
.
I was able to check out the Wu-Tang Concert in NJ when they came into town but ODB aka Russell Tyrone Jones didn't show up because he passed away on Saturday Nov. 13, 2004.ODB, who arrived in the New York area on a flight from Denver at 10:30 p.m. that Friday Nov. 12th, which he had been scheduled to perform with the Wu-Tang Clan in Jersey that night when I went, but he missed the show and he collapsed in the lounge of the Wu Tang's studio, 36 Records LLC on West 34th Street. I regret not being able to see the artist because he will be one of the best and most eccentric artists.
