The GREEN Elephant in the corner that you may not noticed
WALMART GROWTH
Wal-Mart no longer has any real rivals. If you don't know this by now but Wal-Mart is not just the world's largest retailer. It's the world's largest company--bigger than ExxonMobil, General Motors, and General Electric. With that said, it's roughly equal to the combined revenues of Staples, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks and Nordstrom. The company sold $350 billion worth of goods in the fiscal year of 2007.
It is, in fact, so big and so gienormously powerful as to have become an entirely different order of a corporate being. Lee Scott and Rob Walton is definitely doing something right moving this giant toward a green machine.
