So as you all know I've been on this Apple tip with the 3G and I recently discovered this program which is made to share music without actually downloading it.
It works like an (AIM)instant messenger.
So whoever you add to your list, will get to listen to your itunes or the iphone app, and vice
versa. Whenever someone is logged in, their library will be available to listen to.
It's Free – No hidden charges and there's more, believe it or not - there's
No spyware.
It's easy and the set-up is fast. No need to upload files to a website.
It's Integrated – and plays music using iTunes, Winamp or Rhythmbox.
Only your group can access what you are sharing, and no one can see your other files.
The Files are streamed only within your private group and it's Universal.
You can connect across PC, Mac and Linux desktops and the iPhone and iPod Touch.
For iPhone users:
1.Download the application 'Simplify Media'. It's Free
2.Follow the directions on screen after opening the app.
For iTunes users:
1. Visit - www.simplifymedia.com/download/
2. Download the version that matches your computer and install.
3. After Installtion, when setting up your user name, and password.
You will be asked to select your media. Select your itunes, AND
your music folder.

A Mud Sandwich - Now what?

It seems like everyone that I have been talking to has been discussing our economy, but all in all will it affect me and you?
All I know is if you are investing any sort of stocks, the value is either below when you initially bought it or has tanked.
The question though......is it the right time to go in and invest now? Some say it is in the coming weeks, some say, give it a month?
Who knows, my suggestion, if you have cash now, put it somewhere safe and don't touch it for about 20 years. I suggest just burying it under your house.

Bomb Down Broadway
Love what Zoo York's been doing on the viral side. First the roaches stint down on Wall Street (which gave way to this little episode) and now this event - Bomb Down Broadway. They held this event this past summer where they got a sh*tload of BMXers to Union Square for an all-out race to Edwin De La Rosa's POST store in BK. The winner (Ben Duke) took home $1500, 2nd place ($1,000) went to Darryl Nau, and 3rd place ($750) went to Marco Della.

The Donkey and the Elephant

The famous Democratic Donkey and the Republican Elephant (shown above). How did this evolve? Well did some research and found out how come these party animals got chosen vs. any other animals.
History said that during Andrew Jackson's 1828 presidential campaign, the press and opponents started to call him a "Jackass." So in response Andrew and his campaign team wanted to find a strong-willed animal for his campaign so at that time there was a famous cartoonist named Thomas Nast who did a sketch of a donkey that was used in a famous paper at the time - "Harper's Weekly", January 19th 1870, to symbolize his party and it became famous.

Thomas Nast also invented the Republican elephant when he did a sketch that appeared in the Harper's Weekly in 1874 shown here:
He drew a donkey clothed in a lion's skin (shown below) trying to scare the other animals in the zoo and the Elephant was labeled "The Republican Vote"

As you can see (above), Nast drew a donkey dressed up as a lion, trying to scare away all the animals at the zoo. One of those animals, the elephant, was labeled “The Republican Vote.” That's ALL it took for the elephant to become associated with the Republican Party.
Democrats today say the donkey represents intelligence and courage, while Republicans say the elephant represents strength and dignity. From what I have learned in my current job is it's all a SPIN which has exploded on the web and beyond the press.
Well hopefully we will see the first debate this coming Friday if they can resolve this Financial crisis that we are encountering in our nation. I gotta tell you, we are living some interesting times in our lives with whats going on around us.

I usually can't stand takeover ads, but this one is probably one of the best online ads I've seen in a while....

Madvillain 2 has arrived

Really dope collaboration effort with Stones Throw and Madvillain I was hoping to get the package after the 16th because Peanut Butter Wolf would've done a gig at my crib! Drat, they kept their damn word.
Outside cover of the package
For the Smoker's Delight

One thing I like about the folks at Stone Throw, they always keep it gully with a cassette and also comes with vinyl.
The Stones Throw packaging is tighter than a nun's wooo hooo.
The comic strip if you can't find it comes in the CD sleeve.

MF Doom is set to release his Born Into This album after taking a three year hiatus. No longer going by the name MF Doom, his alias will just simply be DOOM. Producers on the album include J Dilla and Dangermouse along with features from Raekwon and Ghostface. A release date of October 21, 2008 is expected, so stay tuned.

Amazon MP3 store on Google Android Phone and T - Mobile G1

It also comes in white!

According to Engadget the HTC Google Android phone that will be announced later today on the T-Mobile network will have the Amazon MP3 Store application.
According to this rumor article, is that the pricing the same as for the regular online store.
I thought the record companies said NO to Apple about downloads over the wireless network for the same price as downloads to your connected computer. Can someone please explain this to me?
Well some of you can find it out at today's press conference in New York City
here:
They will show new features of the G1 Phone and I was quite impressed with the navigation and also the features such as Google Compass and the Android widget applications that you can download. Looks like there's a new competitor around the block, lets see how much of an impact it will make.
Here's a quick look at the security lock for the phone and some other features of the G1. Set to launch on October 22nd for $179 on T-Mobile in the US on a two-year contract ($399 no contract)

A breath of fresh air
I was able to check out the Amish country this weekend and I must say it was quite a refreshing feeling to drive up to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and get away from the city life.
If you ever get a chance I would suggest staying off the main arteries like Route 501 or 222. We stayed at the Amishviewinn in a small town called Bird in Hand which was excellent. Stayed right outside of the entrance so it was quite easy getting in and out.

I must say I had a great time with the boys and plan on taking a trip back out there in the winter season.
Check out some of the shots on the trip.
You know I had to jump on the buggy folks...
What are these white sacks?
Well they're filled with Hay if you didn't know. Horse and Cows feed on Hay using feeders which the hay must be clean or they won't eat it.There are all different types of feeders.
The best way to dry your clothes is air-dry, but for some reason I can't find the space to hang all of my clothes on a line like this.
If you don't see them on a horse & buggy, then you may find them on their other whip.
Well I know I will be back in a season or two. Check it out if you ever need a recharge. I sure as hell did.
